What is the fastest you have been in a boat whether it was yours or somebody elses. The fastest I have been is about 105 in a 25 Daytona on Havasu.

About 105 in our 22' Stoker on Parker. I think the hubby has had it up to 110 or so. Anything over 100 mph for me anymore.....no thanks. ;) 80mph is a lovely cruising speed for me!

probably Byron Ashleys 36 Nortech called Phat Cat.somewhere around 158 mph or something like that. I've been told that now he's about 10 mph faster than that!!

75 MPH in my uncle's bass boat at Lake of the Ozarks. I was like 10, and not sitting in a seat. I got stuck on the floor. He hit a big wave (shocking at LOTO, I know), and I went flying towards the back. Luckily, my dad caught me before I flew out.
On land, fastest I've driven is 125 MPH in my F-150. Fastest I've been in a car is 135, 1993 Taurus SHO.

Like others have said - kind of like taking off in a jetliner - you're hauling ass but don't feel the speed.
Unless, of course, you do something stoopid like raise your camera above the canopy. The Kodak, my arm and the guy sitting behind me certainly didn't enjoy it either. :eek: :eek: :eek:

Its all about how fast you get there. 115 in around 10 seconds is more of a thrill than anything else that I have been a lot faster in.
