Here the boat does 65+ (not on your life. I have a panther jet boat with a 454 and diverter which was said to do a GPS proven 75 MPH at time of purchase did 52 MPH the day It got home) and is a race boat. I thought e-bay was the one that made anything run 100.

That second boat down, the Beismeyer Carribean is a good lookin boat, one of my all time favorites since I was a little kid and saw Rusty Beismeyer's personal boat in a magazine. I love the transom. Got the chance to restore one many years ago during the off, winter months at the shop. Always wanted one of those too. lol
The guys a little high on the price, but the boat...it's a classic. Hell, I even like the Ford 9N tractor! :)

Yeah it's pretty flat. From the rear, the way the bottom angles up at either side, that's called an 'anti trip bottom' or 'anti trip chine', done a lot back in the late 50s early 60s. That little area runs forward about 4 feet or so and tapers away into the bottom.

a stock 1969 olds 455 has 518 hp ive been building olds motors for years this motor has a competition cam full race, hydraulic lifters, roller rockers, 10 to 1 compression, mondelo performance heads, the block is bored 60 over,yes it does have stock exhaust logs but with the 3" ports it doesn't hurt the horsepower very much bassett headers will only bump the power 15 to 20 horse

If thats a fully rigged boat with a motor and trailer that looks like a pretty good deal.
Aluminum boats last a loooong time and hold their value far better than a glass boat. Our 21 tunnel hull is $13500 absolutly bare

To give a rough comparison our small block ZZ4 raceboats go out the door turn key on a trailer for about $56K. Any higher class motor and the price goes up from there
A running fully rigged aluminum boat of ANY kind for 13K is worth a look.
We have used 10 year old riverboats with v8's, faded paint and the usual wear and tear that will easily fetch 25K in the spring. Why? cause the hull is almost no different than the day it was built. Styling aside some fresh paint and you have a boat as good as "new"
A bare hull, no paint, no interior no hardware no tanks no nothing is worth that alone new
Its not at all outrageous at $13500 and you have no idea without details the motor 'could' be worth half that
There is no "chopper gun" way to build an aluminum boat. There is no way to crash train a guy to weld aluminum. Its not the cheaperst form of construction by any means but in my oppinion it is one of the better ways. There is a very good reason there are so many riveted aluminum boats out there, you can teach a monkey to put in rivets!

I love the needs oil pump one. Probably goes too fast for the oil to keep up. I would guess it needs a new motor and the 700 horses come from the rod bearings mains being clearanced by not having good lubrication.

Yes it is a BOLD statement!!! It was gps but I do know that my buddies tunnel hull runs 96 and pulled him, so there ya go. Yes, it has had lots of bottom work, race keel, ride plat, and some hull mod. I know it needs an oil pump because it needs an oil pump..... Well if you have any other questions I would rather answer them by a phone> I hate sitting here at the pc and answering question after question, and nobody is REALLY interested in actuall buying. I have a guy from Australia coming to look at on sunday. If your friend is looking for a really BAD ASS boat for CHEAP this is the one. We are moving to Colorado or else I would keep it. The motor has to be pulled to change the oil pump and I just dont have time to do so righr now. Matter of fact if it didnt need and oil pump I would have it listed for 11k and sit on it till the season came aruound, but DUNE season is here and dont have the space between the sandcar and other toys. The trailer and hull is worth more than what I am asking so if you guys would like to see I would be more than happy to shoe it to ya. The boat does run, but needing an oil pump I dont want to damage anything incase i do end up keeping it. Anything less than 7k I will just do that. Thanks so much!

I know it needs an oil pump because the motor is fresh and we were at a gathering and there is no oil pressure. So to my common sense it would need an oil pump. Plus, to change the oil pump you need to pull the motor and I have used all my favors for now. Consintrating on moving to Colorado right now or else I would pay someone to fix and keep it. Based on his statements and attitude, I still say he is a crook or very stupid.........or both......We have no history of this boat or engine...New? 5 seasons old? Did HE rebuild it!!!??? If it is new, and had no pressure from the begining, there are a couple of MINOR things it could be, but it doesn't sould like that is the case........If it is local I'll help you fix and GPS this turds boat, but when the pan comes off I have a feeling an oil pump aint gonna help it..........Maybe a broom and dustpan to get the crap out of the pan........MP

I was sold a boat that was guarantied to do 70 that was 3 feet shorter and has a 454 who's top speed is 52.5. I also love the sometimes covered sometimes not. At least he is honest about that.
