tach question

just put a new tach in my boat and it has 1 2 3 4 setting not the regular 4 6 8 that im used to where do i set this for a bbc

What's the make and model and maybe instructions can be found online.

oh it came with insturctions and i have allready been to their web site they are just really veuge they have the wiring but not the settings

Are you sure that tach isn't for an outboard?
