I've got a '89/'90 Merc 200 and was wondering what the alternater specs where. Amp output etc. If anyone knows could you please post. Thanks,

Unless it has some kind of mod done to it. I think normally 16 amps with a steel flywheel and 6-7 amps with a liteweight flywheel. Eric at Simonmotorsports can tell you for sure. It could be a 40 amp system. The flywheel is a bit thicker on those. If your unlucky you might have a water cooled rectifier/regulator (40 amp).
