That looks like Hass's old boat.

He had the motor mounted farther forward than I did in the Stealth.

Hey IMPATIENT 1, Yes thats my old tx20, good old boat but its got a few problems that need to be addressed. The bubbles on the deck are delamination , there is one in the passenger side tunnle about where the passengers feet are. That hull is very thin and light. around 420lbs. Irvan Capps put the dropped keel. That was the fastest tx20 in OK as far as I have ever seen, and been told by many hard core racers. With enough power it should approach 119-120mph in 1/4mile. I like the tpr better for lake use because its thicker, safer ,but that tx20 was an awsome handling boat, rode great and would haul ass. I still have the place diverter, droop snoot, loader and a couple other items if you need. O yea, I need you to get in touch anyway , I still have the snap on cockpit cover that I'll give you if you want.

Any TX 20 that will run that fast in the 1/4 would need alot of HP and even then may not happen.

Well suprise PD has something negative to say about someone else's boat. Good looking boat by the way. I love the look of how wide open the centeris between the sponsons.

Well obviously two people can set the same boat up different with similar power and run way different speeds. Keep your negative B.S. to your self.

Refer to,
Thats ok I eat flatties and shit hydro's:D
There is never going to be a race or even a show as far as PD is concerned.
Come to find out he doesn't have the boat or engine anymore and doesn't live in Mi. either. He just delights in stirring s**t and that's the way it's always been with him. Even when he lived in Mi he would never show up to run. It's easier to just type s**t on the net.
I WOULD SUGGEST IGNORING ANY FUTURE POSTS OR THREADS BY PLACECRAFT DRAGSTAR

I had about 1400hp in that boat and it would run 112-117 every pass, there are many witnesses to the gps and many victoms in so called 120mph race boats

I'm telling you , if you put good power in that boat it will haul the mail. that boat takes a better set than any other tx20 around. with my motor it would run over100mph before the nos. It ran so good that I wouldnt sell it untill I was totally convinced that this TPR stealth would perform as well. So far I think the new boat is a little quicker and it has a couple mph on the big end but the only major difference is that its a little thicker and safer for lake use.

not pickin on ya.....that just seems like alot of HP to run that speed. Was it more like 112 or more like 117? I thought those tx20's were a little more efficient than that especially at 420lbs. Was that with the race bottom? Was the pump setback?

Beutiful boat!!!
Would love to see a picture of the bottom / intake area.
I know these may not be as efficient as some of the more modern hulls, but I have one of Rick Hendrick's old race TX-20's, and back in the early 80's it ran around 117 in the 1/4 with a 540 in it (I would imagine about 800hp at the most back then?!?).
Very cool boat you have, what year is it?

It would depend on how long the pass was, because we were lake racing so we would run out of a secluded cove, no measurements. the gps recall would always say 112-117 . The best I ever saw was 121 but I'm from the old school so I say throw out your best and worst pass and average the rest. 112mph-117mph.

As promissed:) Keep the negativity coming, it's obvious you lack self esteem so putting down other people makes you feel better. I would still like to see your race boat (whoops you dont have it anymore) get it's a** handed to it by marks 4 seater lake boat.:D

sstjet, do you just need a friend? when I go back home next summer ( at least I plan to) we have to get together and go boating. I will be bringing my boat with me so I will let you know when that is, either july or august.
But as far as a 4 seater boat race LOL that boat would not have done it and if you think it will then you need to lay off the crack pipe.

Like I said before I'm just throwin some mud back at ya. As far as the racing the ball is in your court.
