TRUCK
1997 Red Chevy Suburban. Red, all power, 3rd sea. Within the last year, I have put on New tires and new brakes. Runs Great! Push button 4x4 works perfect. Tows great. Tow package. Both front and rear ACs work great. I drive it to San Diego about once a month so I definately consider it a reliable vehicle. I would deliver it to Phoenix, San Diego, LA, or maybe further for the price of gas.
BOAT
Last summer the 454 Chevy engine and Berkley jet pump were both professional rebuilt by Performance Marine. Red and White hull with white/gray striped upholstery. Very nice! Seats 7 and cruises up river very nice. We also wake board and ski and tube with it easily. Really fun, great and reliable boat. I have 4 6x9's and a sub that hooks up to an iPod and sound REALLY good. Plently loud to have clean music while cruising. The engine is enclosed with a deck above the engine compartment and there is a swim deck off the back.

I guess it is all relative compared to the type of boat you are used to but in this price range, this boat is FAR from "rough".
I admit I didnt' vaccum, wash and polish before snapping the photos but this is a sweet boat that won't let you down on the river. Big enough for all your friends and gear and strong enough to cruise, wake board, ski, tube or whatever else you want to do. And, not get stuck hitting a sand bar with your outboard.
And, with 10 or 15 mintutes to wash it up before hitting the water, you'll be looking good.
Interior has no tears, carpet has no problems, etc.
Unless you want to spend 15k or more (which is my upgrade plan), this is the boat you "want" for the river.
