I purchased this from Circuit City on 04/30/07. The total price with accessories and the extended warranty was 1394.91.
The Camera alone sells for 750.00 as of today 09/22/07 @ Circuit City.
I have used it 4 times. The camera is in mint condition. The extended warranty is good until 05/30/2011 and covers manufacture defects, damage due to dropping and/or water damage. I will provide you with the original receipt so that you can use the extended warranty if needed. If you have questions please call me @ 912-222-7476.

2.7" wide touch-panel SwivelScreen™: The 2.7" wide (16:9) LCD screen provides excellent viewing clarity. The high resolution LCD screen rotates up to 270 degrees for multiple viewing angles providing sharp, detailed images for monitoring or playback, and the widescreen format makes shooting in 16:9 mode and composing shots even easier.
Digital still memory mode: Capture still images up to 1152 x 864 resolution, directly onto the internal 60GB hard disk drive for easy transfer to PCs for emailing and printing. You can also use Memory Stick Duo memory cards for storage.
Handycam station: Simply place the camcorder on the supplied Handycam Station cradle to provide quick connections to a TV for viewing or a PC for editing and sharing. Placing the camcorder on this station also charges the battery, so your camcorder is always ready to go.
Disk drive smart protection: A unique shock absorber protects the hard disk drive from physical damage if the unit is dropped. When the 3G Sensor detects a drop (loss of gravity) the power to the hard disk drive is turned off in order to prevent damage. During this time the DCR-SR82 remains powered on and recording video to the built-in buffer. Once the unit has recovered from the drop the buffer is then recorded to the Hard Disk Drive.
Wide-angle shooting: Easily switch between 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios for shooting, with the touch of a button.
Zoom: The 25x optical zoom brings the action close with minimized distortion, while the digital zoom can be increased up to an amazing 2000x before or after shooting.
Progressive Shutter System: The mechanical shutter system provides progressive scan performance while using an interlaced scanning system. The result is digital still images that are sharp and clear, with excellent definition.
