I think it's time to sell the Turbo charged Skater. Because the motor is turboed and needs special care, I want to sell them separately. So what do you think I should ask for a 1979 Skater 18 in very good condition (probably the best one there is left). It has some minor cracking in the gel around the corners and the transom has just been dried out and sealed up but needs some finish work. It has a new windshield since these pictures. The core and foam have been checked for moisture and are dry (the problem that killed most of these boats).

The last picture is just of the motor.
Thanks for helping me out with this.

Go to www.screamandfly.com (http://www.screamandfly.com) and ask there. All about outboards. Pretty cool setup by the way.

Is that the Land&Sea turbo kit?
What's the turbo used?
What "special care" does it require?
Just curious.

Yes it started out a land and sea kit, many modifications, some since the pictures.
A hydro is in my future, but not right now. the boat has been sittin for going on 3 summers and I would rather finish my Jeep project so the boat goes up for sale. In fact I have an offer I'm concidering, $3,000 seem to low? I payed $4,000 for the hull and many parts 6 years ago.

Todd, I made a post on S&F with a few pics of your boat (hope you don't mind). A few members sounded intrested. That seems like a good price. It should not last long. I hate to see you sell it, but if it has been just sitting, I guess it is just as well. As for me, I am retiring Youngblood but have another picklefork Mod VP on order! :D
BTW it is down right now. Not sure when it will be back up.

Thanks for posting that for me Forkin' Crazy. My username must have run out over there and I've been too busy to re-register.
It will run just over 100, loves rough water. Not bad for a 2.0l!
