Custom Fiberglass Air Scoops [Archive]

I want to get a custom made fiberglass air scoop made for my dual carb 468 BBC. I live in the South Bay area in Redondo Beach. Is there any place within One Hour radius that makes GOOD air scoops?
Any website I can go to with specs and prices? I've done all the google and not much info. Post pics of your scoops! Who's got the Hottest looking scoop!:D

I want something like a PRO STOCK car would use. I went on eHarwood.com.
I want something with a BIG opening, rather than narrow. Similar to the 85 Tunnel for sale in the Hot Boat topic. I guess Brandon's boat 4 sale? Is there somewhere in the SoCal area? Not far, far and away!....hahaha.

Whats up turd ? Did you get that thing fixed ? Do the interior and the gel first. Your scoop fits the boat, and there isn't anything wrong with it. But if your convinced thats were you want to sink the money, try www.suncoastracecars.com. Better start working overtime !!

Hey Wayne..The interior is done! Been done for 2 weeks now. I am considering getting the the gel done. Can't decide if I should attempt it, or have Jake Jackson 3 step the deck. I'm getting new headers soon, and want to trick out the motor a bit. I'll be messing with the motor once I get it out of Keith's drive way. It's going to be staying hopefully indoor at my dad's shop.
BTW..Who made that comment about needles and seats? Is that Pat? Anyways....Wayne, How was it mounting the scoop? Did you use dzus fittings for your hardware? Talk to you soon. Late

im in south redondo over by the highschool ...heading to the river next weekend and hopefully the following weekend. after that its time to get things dialed for next season.

No Shit!! Same here. I'm off Beryl and Guadalupe. I was thinking about heading out to Laughlin next weekend myself with a few friends. My buddy's mom lives in Bullhead city.
