The Rockies have their giant killer, Josh Fogg, going tonight. I'm sure the Padres will lose, culminating what can only be described as the perfect end to a perfectly horrible sports weekend for me.
I think you could start a new business next time you are at the Chargers stadium, Brown paper bags with eye holes allready cut out. Free during the first 1/4 then $5 a pop after Rivers goes ballistic. We are REALLY A MESS AREN"T WE?? How does a team fall apart this badly?? SAD DAYS!!! NSF PS I like the Padres chances with Peavy on the hill, look how Webby did 3 days ago, good pitching will beat good hitting (I hope)

I'm not liking the Padres chances right now. Sure they have Peavy on the mound but their pitching has been going down hill. Plus Cameron and Bradly are out. Not to mention they have been playing for about two and a half weeks without a day off. If they win tonight, they will fold when they get to Philly. Chargers.................................don't even get me started, what a dissappointment.

Adrian Gonzalez just nutted up and hit a 3rd inning grand slam to take the lead. It's on TBS if anybody is looking for it. It took me a few minutes to find it.

They should not have started Peavy on 3 days. D backs roughed him up last time they did. But I guess their options were pretty slim. Young only had a day or 2 rest.....

Although he never touched home plate it makes up for that missed home run call. The game should have never got to that point.
Overall it was one of the best games I've ever seen in my life. Good for the Rockies, they deserve it. Hurdle has to be manager of the year at this point...
