If you all don't know...
Hot Boats new owners are reportedly being backed by the money of the owner of Carrera and Aftershock boats. Rumour has it the other boat builders in SoCal are furious. They don't believe the Rag will be able to keep any sort of objectivity. It's bad enough not to give negative reviews to advertisers but can they ever, possibly give a bad review now to their "moneyman's" boats?
Inquiring minds want to know....

yes..but they call it a magazine. :eek: :D Does Dennis still own Carrera boats. :confused:

I like both PB and HP magazines but the way boats are reviewed has changed substanitally since I was a kid. I still like the reviews but I still treat them like "hear-say".
I hope the mag makes it, I still enjoy reading about boats.
