Would it be a thread jack to ask how many do NOT want a bridge at all?
I DON't want the rif raff.
It would only benefeit the indians and a couple tax payers.

I think the poll is for the 2nd bridge to get to the island in Havasu. No indian land there. ;)

I voted for the Island dwellers, mainly new development to bare the costs cuz it's only needed if they build all that crud on the island.

I do not have a problem with a second bridge, but I am not inclined to pay for it. As an eariler post I did indicated, about 70% of my property tax statement is for special assesments and voter approved bonds! 70%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In Surf City my house tax bill has about 5% bond and assesments and 95% property tax. mohave County property taxes and city taxes are reasonable, it is the assesments are are totally out of control.
READ YOUR BILL.

The island owners and developers should pay, we live far from the island and seldom go there, so wouldn't want to pay. Charging tourists to use the bridge would further decrease already declining tourism. The developers would get the most benefit from a new bridge, with the island livers getting the second most benefit.
