Looking for 2 ballpark figures on 100 linear feet of wall.
1) with the cheapest block avaiable
&
2) with the more expensive block commonly used in tract homes.
Assuming land is fairly level.
thanks....:D

Whereabouts? If you are talking about Havasu call Jason Lee at Another Block Company 928-566-9336. He's a stand up guy is always on time and not to mention does great work. Make sure you tell him Dan Kaatz referred you to him so he knows to take care of you.

Gray block is cheapest at Home Depot, seventy some cents on 6" and .98 cents for 8". Tan Block your running around 1.40 for 6" and 2.20 for 8". If your going to stucco the wall I would get Home Depot Gray block, if you going to leave the tan block finish I only use Angeleus block only available from certain distrubutors, finish is nicer and stronger. A lot of contractors out there use sand and plastic cement and throw in color for the mortor, personally i would only use spec mix but it's more money. You can pick up Block wall detail from most city building depts. Dig out and set the rebar yourself order up cement and find a block setter. Or hire me to help me pay for my boat on the off season. hah
