Over-time as required to completely resolve any urgent
immediate problems at hand, including suspending
eating, drinking, and breaks as required by the
environment (eg. when in the operating room). Schedule
may be adjusted to require early and/or late waking
hours in order to arrive on time to the operating
room, and for other such situations. Ability to
withstand smells and scenes common to the operating
room, including burning human flesh smell for hours at
a time without fainting, collapse, and so forth.
Ability to maneuver in crowded, dangerous spaces under
desks, in the operating room, in animal laboratories,
and so forth. Ability to take precautions (gloves,
masks, surgical gowns), preventative treatment
(injections, drugs), etc. to prevent infection and

Under General Direction, incumbent serves as
departmental computer programming and technical
support consultant to department faculty and staff.
Works independently programming multiple biological
data capture simulations in support of very specific
research activities. Supports multiple hardware and
software platforms. Installs, configures, and supports
network operating systems such as Appletalk and TCP/IP
and communications hardware and software. Serves as
Web Site Coordinator, maintaining and updating
content. Serves as training resource to department
personnel and provides troubleshooting on all hardware
and software.
Salary: Range $Min-47,838.00 -Mid-64,969.00
Work Schedule: 8-5, M-F
