Someone left their POS late 80's toyota mini-van 3 days ago in my parking lot(which is gated. gates left open during the week).
Option 1- Take out the forklift and pick up the van until the forks can't go any higher. Drop van onto a pile of cats.
Option 2- Bury the whole vehicle up to the roof in dirt/sand
Option 3- Dig a hole where the vehicle is parked and bury it about 4' deeper than it's current location.
Option 4- Take the whole thing apart but leave the parts in the parking spot.

or load it up take it to a wrecking yard sell it for the parts and make some doh out of it. the wrecking yard will have it torn apart faster than you can blink.

Me too. Happens all the time, I push them down the driveway, call the cops and say "someone parked blocking my driveway". The local illegals think this is their personal trash can. I find all kinds of TV boxes, plywood and diapers in my parking lot all the time.
Time to paint this bitch like the american flag and set off some fireworks inside.

I Like the use of cats...
Get a few cats, feed them LOTS of canned food and exlax, lock them in the minivan. After...a week maybe...tow to the owners house and set up the video camera.
just an idea.
I like it. Some lady has been cruising by at about 2am and feeding a few stray cats I have in my parking lot. I have about 12 cats with wide open schedules.

Are you able to open the windows? If so get some bird feed and draw every pidgeon in the area's attention to the van. That'll teach them. LOL

Pretty sure you can call the PD and report an abandoned vehicle. I've done this before, but it was next to my house in the street. It was gone the next day when I got home.

I've done that before myself. Works well. Beleive it or not, those old mini vans are stolen quite often in parts of LA, might have been dumped

Can I be the first to ask, what is a vahicle?
What's the difference between a T-Cup and a P-Cup?
A T-Cup is what you drink tea out of.
A P-Cup is what a mexican drives.
Since the vahicle is parked on private property I would have to cover the expense of having it towed. If it were parked here for more than 30 days then I can file for a lien. I don't want to do either so I'm probably going to push it out into a public street and call to have the city take take it.
But fawk, I still have tons of fireworks left over from when I stayed at the Avi earlier this year and I have pigeons and cats to spare. So many good ideas. I want to take video or pics of the act but I don't want to incriminate myself so maybe I'll make one of my employees do it. They like to trash stuff....problem is it's usually my stuff.

haha yeah right. i know for a fact that they will. my grandpa runs a communications company for all of the southern california wrecking yards and has on mutiple accounts has had to give the info on the yards owner and all that to the police due to stripping cars. sun valley is the stolen car central...

Not true, you can call any local tow yard and they'll take it away free of charge....
If it we're parked on the street then the Police would get involved.

I leased a building in S.A. right off grand, just up the street from the train station.
Just amazed me what went on there. Homeless, abandoned cars, drug deals, people showing up needing help from the freeway. Five years of that shit.
Then there was Stage-tech just across the street from me. Need I say more.:D :D

Do you have a sign saying private parking or customer parking only? If you do then they should tow it and hold it and the owner would have to pay the bill before picking up the van. If not and your gate was open you could be liable if it gets damaged or towed. After all if it's a public lot (no notice of private or restricted parking) and the vehicle has legal plates, it can park there.

Are you saying you can park on private property as long as there is no sign up?

private property like residential property, no. But, if it is a business and it has a public parking lot, yes. The afore mentioned private or restricted parking signs make it not a public lot. It's just like parking at a walmart and jumping in someone else's car to run around town. Likewise you can't stop someone from parking on the street in front of your residence if it isn't already a no parking zone.

#3 lol setting it on fire sounds cool also - while sitting in a lawn chair with your buddies singing the sublime song "let it burn " and sucking on budwiser as a salute to the toyota and its next life :D

Ooohhh I feel like Def Frat Guy after hearing you have a potato gun. I could do some serious damage.
I'm not sure if "the profit" has been released. I got the pic from the article that was posted in that thread about him a few months ago.

at the casino i used to work at we would always get some cabbie that would park his car and block traffic. we broke out the 2 ton jack. lift up the rear of the vehicle and push it around the casino. we had a blast when the cabbie came back out and asked if we had seen his cab.. of course we had no idea.
