I have so many id's and passwords it's nuts. Everything today needs a password and an ID . I bet I have 50.
Anyone know of a good password/ID storage program that can securely keep all this crap in one place?

I could tell you but that requires an id and password.

The problem with that, is that some expire and need to be reset, all at different intervals...

Something as easy as password protecting a specific word doc or spreadsheet would work but that's not a feature I could find.

That's all good, until you have a stroke or some crap. Then the wife is screwed. BTW, I use the same method. I remember talking to a friend one day when out of the blue he started stammering, spun in circles for a few seconds and then hit the ground flopping like a fish. Pretty much my age, had a seizure right in front of me. That's when I realized I need to get the wife cut in on all my passwords and paperwork around the house.

I keep a piece of paper taped to the desk under my mouse pad with them all written down. works good so far.;)

Write them down on a 3-M sticky posted over my desk. Smudge the sticky so it looks old, then don't use those passwords. That gets unauthorized users flummoxed, but reminds my wife and I what the real ones are.

I have been using Norton Password Manager for years. It automatically fills in log ID and passwords and auto-completes other forms. It was included with Systemworks when I installed it a few years ago.

Save that file to a Pen Drive. then lock the pen drive so it can't be written to, put it in a safe place ;)
SD card will work also. Mini CDs too.

In my head. All my passwords are some variation of the same password but no one will ever figure it out as there is nothing other than what's in my head to link me to it...

I use this to make all my passwords, then for sure no one will ever guess them, they are completely random :D, you gotta be good at remembering numbers though!!!

I store all mine in the "Forgot Password?" link on most web sites, which is nice because it allows me to waste an extra 10 minutes or so trying to figure out which email address I used when I signed up for that site. Its' really convienient if you also forgot your username and your favorite pet's name. Which reminds me I need to call Vonage because I have no idea whatsoever how to log in to my account anymore.:D

I have a password protected excel spread sheet with them all listed. I only need to remember the one password for it and i am good to go. If the are smart enough to hack into the spreadsheet then they are smart enough to hack the site without my password.
