I have seen alot of set ups where a boat has a ride plate with a droop snoot.
or a ride plate with a shoe .Is there a set up for a ride plate with a standard straight noozle ,and where it would bolt on some what like a droop set up and not use a shoe?. Any one ever try this out before?

Even though this picture has a droop, the ride plate looks like it bolts to the bowl and not attached to the droop.

The ride plate bolts to the back of your intake and on the back side there is a cradle that bolts to the end of the bowl. The droop has nothing to do with the ride plate other than working well together.

Dont buy the place kit, word is that it doesn't work real well. To have a real ride plate you need a shoe also unless the hull has a recess for the plate to bolt flush with the pump intake.

yes, in answer to your question there is a rideplate (other than the Place pictured above) which attaches to the back of the bowl where your nozzle bolts on. I cn't remember who makes it, but I think HTP has them, or is able to get them. I'd call Duane and ask him about them, he'll shoot you straight about their worth.
