One big ugly mofo.
Give me a break, that is a beautiful Aircraft!
Boeing doesn't even build anything close to the A380 in terms of size, at least I don't think they do.
BTW, Airbus has US plants.
The new Boeing Dreamliner looks awesome as well, but I prefer larger aircraft when I fly.

A380 is a copied U.S. aircraft, remember the MD-12 from the early 1990's!;) Dreamliner AKA 787 looks like it knocked up the A380.:D

Several of my friends here in SoCal are employed by the work Airbus provides. Seems as if a lot of the aerospace shops are getting more and more Airbus work in the past few years.

I take it you won't be buying a Boeing 787? Or flying on one?

The A380 is this century's Concord...
Not only will Airbus not sell enough to break even on the development costs, they never will sell enough for the model to even come close to being profitable. The only reason they'll be able to put it in production is the direct subsidies that France gives Airbus. Their largest partners in the venture, the Germans, have pulled out of the project.
Boeing is building a larger version of the 747, and has stollen orders for Airbus since it seems that Boeing actually can deliver an airplane.

I don't think the 747-8 has rolled out yet, shouldn't be long though.
UPS has cancelled all orders for the A380 Freight version (a key part of Airbus's market for the A380)... Fed Ex has also bailed out of the A380 Freighter, leaving no other buyers... They couldn't wait until (at least) 2015 till the airplane is in service.
UPS has placed orders for 767-300ER freighters, and Fed Ex is buying 777 freighters.
Like I said, Boeing can deliver the aircraft.
Not to mention, Airbus's 787 killer, the A350 is all but halted in development due to problems within Airbus. Without the French Gov't, Airbus would be TU...

I see. Perhaps you don't realize we're looking at pictures of an A380 in flight. The company is indeed struggling but they delivered a flying prototype in April of 2005.
I admire your patriotism but perhaps we should try to keep it within the bounds of reality.

They have yet to deliver a production airplane... if we are talking reality. We'll see what happens when then rubber hits the treadmill so to speak. :D
It's all show anyway... the real money is in the widebody twin market... Airbus wanted a 747 sized airplane, so they built the A380. Boeing will build a follow on to the 747-400 and they'll split the market. Both companies will be lucky to break even on either airplane.
Nice chop by the way... but I believe ***boat violates the gender neutral work place act and won't be allowed... :D
