I was just shopping for the same thing this weekend. The best prics I got was $700 stripped prepped and coated. I am in the Central Valley (Fresno Area). Keep us posted in the prices down there to compare. I was quoted anywhere between $500-$1500

Cause it's only has to be heated an additonal 350 degrees? why so much cheaper in AZ? The metal finishing needs to be much better, for PC finishes, thats the draw back over painted trailers.

Does the phrase "you get what you pay for" refer to this thread?

You know, I didn't mean it as a slam, but if you look at it, I guess it is funny. My problem is, my boat complete probably weighs 4K, so I need a place that will factor that in... :)

you have to remember they have to completely take your tailer apart and sand blast it. Which is where most of the cost comes from. I was looking to have it done 2 years ago. The cost to have it blasted and coated was only about $450. It was taking it apart and putting back toegther that was going to cost me about a grand.

Give Inland Powdercoating a call or check them out online. They are in Ontario.
3 years ago it was $780 and it was ready in 3-4 days. Sand blasted and powdercoated. I towed it up there, pulled all of the lights and wires off, the axles/leaf springs, the master cylinder for the hitch and the boards. A word of caution, powdercoating fades as well. So keep that in mind when choosing colors. I am getting mine done again, perhaps this winter, I will be getting white, it is red now.
