Ok boys I'm back. I haven't posted for a few years. Sold the Skater and bought a Playcraft pontooner! This is the best boat I have ever owned, but that's a whole other story.
So we raised the motor 2 holes and got 400 more rpm out of her. I get 6300 rpm out of her. This is a 225 Honda 4 stroke running a 17 pitch 4 blade. If I need between 5,500 and 6,000 rpm I was thinking of going with a 19" 3 blade. Does this sound right? How many rpm's per one pitch in a prop? Are there any performance props for these Hondas yet? Thanks.

Don't know, but thats close to 50 mph. With a 19 you might see 54 mph. Good luck.

" top secrete". You should see what I'm tooling up. One bad toon. The wood work is almost done, and the sand paper is on the way.

It has been fun playing with the set up. I Know my go with a 12 inch set back bracket and see how it changes things. I need to take the tops down someday and see if any speed changes. Miguel with DCB gave me some good information on the set up.
