Thanks Paul for your webpages dealing with BBF block prep. Just finished all the tricks and my D1VE Block is in the hot washer at the machine shop.
Next is 10.3 decking and 80. over 4.3 crank 6.8 H beams and JE's

The pleasure's all mine; glad you find the website useful.
I am a bit taken a-back by all the positive feedback High Flow Dynamics is getting about the "open house" info on the Technical Pages portion of the website. (And there is still a lot more to come.) For example, a customer of mine is having his motor built by a respected racer/machine shop owner that specializes in chevy's. The machine shop owner has virtually no high performance building experience with Ford 460's, however, and asked me questions over the phone for about 45 minutes after studying our website, so as to be sure to do all the right things for this 460 build. He then thanked me said he was surprised that I would happily offer up all the secrets I can about porting, oiling, or machining this or that in such a manner, etc.
The reason I do so is because I believe that we should be sharing as much information as we can among the enthusiasts so as to get more of these engines out there running the number...and thereby enlightening the masses about there true potential. So if I can be of any assistance, I will. And it pleases me to know that other enthusasts find their visit to the website useful to them and not strictly a sales site trying to hustle parts.

Go ahead, run with it. That pointer looks thick and I dont have much room between blower belt and plate. I think I need an early stock one.
