Now if I only knew how to insert sizes in this editor we'd be in good shape.

Now if I could find someone to upholster as tight as you install carpet and not want an arm and a leg, I'd be happy. It should be a quiet ride with all that carpet covering just about everything. You did a great job. :)

What kind of estimate did he give you? I talked to a local person and IF I build the seats, foam the boards and shape that, then buy and cut out all the upholstery to fit, they wanted $150.00 per front bucket and $250.00 per bench just to sew it all together and not guarantee anything. I may as well buy a sewing machine and do it all myself.

Those are actually good prices if providing that the guy produces decent work. The no guarantee reeks of shady ville to me though.

That thing is cool. I like the colors. That gel will come out really nice, just take your time and use 3M products. Mine was way worse than that and it came out pretty good. I did a 2000 wet sand first, then used a variable speed polisher(set at 2-3 on speed) w/ a 3M medium cutting compound and a wool pad. Then I used a 3M glaze w/ a foam pad. But like I said, take your time and be careful on the edges/corners if you have never done this. Then seal it up w/ a glaze wax, don't use that crap that sqeezes out of the bottle. Good luck.

My Miller has great gel just that someone before me had to drill and cut holes in it that I don't like. They put cleats on there that should be on a 1965 Bayliner... You know the ones I mean, you can get them at Harbor Freight for $4.95 a pair. Then when they put in WOOD SCREWS they tightened them down so hard that the gel coat and glass raised up. Also, they tried doing some glass work on the hull floor, and I don't yet know why, but they used house fiberglass insulation rather then spending a few buck on glass mat.
This Miller is looking great!

Jet, Are you kidding??? Do I have to buy anything or what is the catch? I'll build the seats as I know what I want to do. The original seats are in it now, but the wood is starting to go and I have a new idea for some nice seat arrangements.

open beers in cupholders is a bad idea...............they get shaken up and spill everywhere :D :D....i though about putting cupholders in mine but imo they are worthless for any kind of open container unless you are running in flat water.

And you sure don't want to spill any!! :D Leave them in the cooler until it's time to open and drink.

Sounds good to me. I was thinking about buying the fiberglass seat forms from FOURQ and then going from there! I think he is asking $250.00 a set (2).
