Need Project Boat

A friend of mine is looking for a good project boat.
It must be an 18-21ft V-bottom or tunnel hull
He wants a bare hull, on a trailer, preferably with a pump. It doesn't have to have a motor or interior. Also, the hull has to be in good shape with no dry rot or major glasswork needed.
He's looking to spend a grand on the the hull and trailer.
Please let me know if you know of a boat that he might want.

A friend of mine has a Rodgers hull that fits your disciption .I also may be a bubble deck ,I have to double check on that.It appears to be the same style as your (Cyclone)new boat as for the hulls shape. I believe it is mid to late 70's. It has decent gel coat(blue and silver) Auotmeter silver gauges and a Berkley "jg" pump and I think a manual diverter. Minus motor . Nice tandem trailer. My friend bought it for the motor for his other boat .I'll make sure he wants to get rid of it and if your interested , I'll try to get a picture of it.

I just called him up and he is going to take a picture of it in the morning . He seems to want a around $1000 without the pump and $1500 with the pump. Although more than your buddy wants to spend it doesn't sound to bad considering it is a pretty desierable hull and a "JG" is about the best Berekly made. From what the original owner says , this boat has ran pretty fast in it's hay day . Somewhere in the 80's from what I remember with a pump gas 454.

It is at the "San Diego country estates" in the Ramona area . Around 30 miles north of San diego. The dude who has this boat also has a SHIT LOAD of extra parts BBC . His garage is a wrenchers dream . Maybe there will be some other stuff there to help your friend out with his project.I needed a bronze dist. gear and some braided line fittings to finish my boat before the weekend . It was too late to order the parts so I just went shopping in his extra "goodies pile" and found every thing that I needed. The beauty of running a Chevy, everyone has extra parts laying around. Oh yea, it is a "Bubble Deck".

I have a 19' tahiti bubble deck I bought for a project. It is sanded and ready for paint. It has a berkley JC, and interior on a single axle trailer. $400.00 takes it if anyone is interested.

Sorry Guys I haven't updated my e-mail address. I will be home today and tomorrow as my kid offered up the Bahner for a fund raiser Auto Show and now I gotta put her back together and shine her up! I don't have any pic's now but I could take some and snail mail if ya like. I was at 1st thinking of making the Tahiti a project open bow/small block family laker but since we will be moving in about 2 months it's probably best to just sell it.
