Heading out to Nashville then Counce Tennessee tomorrow through Monday. The "Deep Ocean Blue" boat just arrived out there so I am going to head out and deliver it to Pier 57 and meet with the gent they have lined up for it hopefully.
Should be a great weekend. Get a ride in a Viper tomorrow... Maybe even get to meet windshield guy at some point. :D
See all of you right coasters out there!

Hey Wes,
I am sure that you will have a good time, hopefully you will have time to look around a bit. Although you might find the area where Pier57 is a little slow (counce). When you head up to Nashville check out 2nd avenue, good times.
Either way, I am sure that you will find plenty to do.
Good luck with the sale, are you stocking boats at Pier57 yet?
We are heading to Chattanooga on Fri. the 12th, me and 4 other boaters.
The are having the races on the river, everything from skiffs to the unlimited cats, also a kilo on saturday, Should be fun.
Enjoy yourself and have a good time, safe trip, Tell Frankie at Pier57, that Michael said hello.
Take care,
MP

Watch those barge wakes...you can really get some good air off those things. Have fun. This is where they filmed the video for "Redneck Yacht Club" by the way. Put that hot rod on the Tennessee Tom Bigbee waterway is you are looking for some glass.

Just to close out this little episode I wanted to give a HUGE thanks to Jeff and Stacy for putting up with me this last weekend. From airport pickups and dropoffs to driving my ass three hours there and another three hours back from Pier 57, they smiled and acted like they were having a great time doing it.
(BTW... doesn't "Stacy Sparks" sound like a hell of a porn name? :D )
I will probably be burping bourbon for a couple more days, but it was a small price to pay for a guided tour of Nashville, a couple of awesome dinners (both home cooked and dining out) and I even pounded down some "Fried Green Tomatos" while I was there.
The 130 miles we put on the Viper was completely awesome. Jeff took me for a sightseeing cruise down to Center Hill lake, showed me the super-busy launch ramp (one guy on it) and took a great scenic cruise jamming some great tunes the whole way.
BTW, if you are pushing 200 pounds, lifting quite a bit and proud of it... don't go visit Jeff!!!! He hangs out with mutants. Jeff has them covered up on height (6'5" or something) but these guys he hangs with are pushing 250 and are like 5' 9" tall. On a "light" say his trainer Chris pushed 4 plates per side for reps. My arms got longer trying to do shrugs with them on the light day.
Pier 57 wasn't what I expected either. Absolutely gorgeous facility right on the lake. We were able to take a really nice ride out on the Tennessee river and head out to the local party cove down there. If you want to check out the Revolution and you are in the area... better move quick because I don't think it is going to last.
They had quite a bit of trick hardware in there too. A BUNCH of nice MTI's and Donzi's, though we were the only west coast boat in the bunch.
Never did get down to see RO and CF. Didn't make it down to the 'nooga though we thought hard about heading down on Sunday.
I will try to post some pics later. I took some great ones of the Viper and some really nice ones of Pier 57 as well.

We will see him in July most likely and if everything works out then they will be getting some business on the real estate side of things. Gotta love the South. Even turns the best out of SoCal punks like Jeff. :D

Yes, next year they will be even bigger. Whoever was handling the publicity should be (and I guess is) fired! Didn't even know about the races till a few days before when I happened to see Amsoil going down the road :jawdrop:  .
Story is the CEO of Miller Industries got wind of the race and wrote a check to be one of the big sponsers. From now on they will handle the pub. Mark your calander for the same time next year.
The Geico team brought 4 boats! Way cool and totally won over the crowd and Chattanooga. I'll bump my threads about the pics.

Hey Wes and Jeff,
Yes I am sure you had a good time with the Nashvillebound crew, never a dull moment I am sure.
We did miss you guys and I had a good time with the otter and his family and another couple of folks who came down from Nashville. I really enjoyed hanging out with frank and his family, beautiful wife and some very well behaved young gentlemen. It was good to see them, and I told him that I would be dragging Jeff down the next time.
I am sure as well as the Trident will sell, that we will have many more visits from you Wes. You made a good decision to sell them through the folks down at Pier 57, I think that those folks will represent your product very well.
I have had multiple dealings with them and they have always treated me very well.
The one thing I noticed is that Jeff pulled out the good stuff for you, The daniels and the dickels are never present when I am there. Only the M/D 20-20 in grape no less.
I wish we could have co-ordinated it better, I would have loved to have seen the trident in person. Sounds like a good excuse to head to counce.
Glad you had a good time, I am sure you will be back.
Maybe next time we can get you out on the water to relax while you are here.
Good times.....Michael

Let's hope so. It had a great response in the party cove, even with only five or so boats there. Good to see. I have a lot of confidence in their ability to sell out of that gorgeous facility.
