Why don't we see a drive shaft? There is nothing on the pinion when that dif comes off.

When the pinion went to the moon, the u joint snaped and the driveline was restrained in the mandatory loops................ The long traction bars were the cause of the failure when they came off the housing allowing it to twist upward breaking everything else......Big tires, big RPMs, big power, small welds??....MP

with how cleanly that appeared to break I wonder if it was only tacted in place? would not be the 1st time some one has forgot to finish a weld before putting stress on the system :D
