So I am trying to use my RAZR2 as an MP3 player in my car, via a cassette adapter, which sounds great hooked up to Sirius.
A Micro USB to 2.5mm headset jack came with the phone.
I tried a 2.5 to 3.5 converter jack since my goal is to get a 3.5 jack coming from the phone (the cassette adapter requires a 3.5 jack). However, it came out in mono only.
I tried several workarounds including Bluetooth alternatives, but ultimately I will have to use the cassette adapter w/3.5 jack.
So before I buy a factory Motorola Micro USB to 3.5 "stereo" jack - does anybody know, for sure, that a stereo signal will come out of the Micro USB to 3.5 headphone jack?
This seems to have the Radio Shack guys and I stumped. Everything sez stereo, but it came out mono on the 2.5/3.5 dealio.
