Boat for sale!!!!
2000 VIP 2400 Vindicator, vee-bottom, closed deck, 502 mag EFI, bravo 1 w/ drive shower, 4-blade ss prop, polished aliminum EMI headers, Vortech flame arrestor, re-calibrated ecm by Az speed & marine, dual batteries w/ perko switch, transom shower w/ 20 gal H2O tank, drop-out bolsters, ss pop up-cleats, cabin w/ sliding door, loungers, vee berth, cabin and courtesy lighting, bomar deck hatch, a/c plug w/ cabin fans, lots of storage!! Rear bench seat w/ storage under, 2 integrated coolers, 6 cup holders, in-dash depth sounder and hour meter, full instrumentation, swim step w/ ss ladder, tandem trailer w/ brand new upgraded 5000 lb axles, brakes and wheels + spare. Cockpit cover and bimini top. This thing is completely loaded!!
The most important thing is that it has been very well taken care of since purchased new in June 2000. The engine and drive oil are changed every 25 hrs and the raw water impeller each year. This boat runs an honest 62-65 mph on GPS depending on which prop and handles excellent in the ruff stuff! The engine only has 90 hrs on it currently and the boat has been stored inside since new.
I'm looking at breaking even as the book on this boat is the same as I owe. Taking over payments would be $512 per month for 13 years. You will NOT find a nicer 24' performance boat out there for a price in the low 40,000 range!! Located North of Phx and will be in Havasu the last weekend of this month. Please e-mail with any questions: cep_bd@yahoo.com
Here's a pic, thanks! Brad Davis http://www.free.***boat.net/photoreport/27/30.htm

No, actually Brian, we have taken a permanent turn in the other direction! Yes, that's right, a vee hull! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif We're looking at the new 29 Wizard. We're wanting the comforts and luxuries versus the speed and high insurance. Line me up someone for my Vindicator and I'll have a check for you as well!

B-rad502, I just purchased a 2001 24' Vindicator about 6 months ago. Love the boat so far, just a little to slow, oh well lifes a bi$#% huh, anyway this is my first lake hotrod so I was wondering if you could give me a first hand on what kinda boat it's been so far. I gonna do a few small, (cheap), LOL, mods to try and get it into the low to mid 60's.

dawgdude, Where do you live??
The most I have seen out of mine is about 65 mph. That's an educated guess because the speedo read 70-71 mph. The one time I did a radar, the speedo read 67 when the gps said 62. We have a 502 mag with emi headers, reprogrammed ecm, and Vortech flame arrestor. Yes, the boat is slow for a 24' boat but, it is also pretty heavy which makes for a great rough water ride. We only gained 1-2 mph on the top after the mods, but gained a lot getting out of the hole. We are selling the boat right now and hoping to move up to a 29 Magic next season. My boat has 90 problem-free hours on it. If you know of anyone looking for a boat like yours, have them drop me an e-mail.

What power package did you get??

I live just outside of Houston Tx. We spend most of our time in and around Clear Lake. Every now and then we make a 45 minute run from there up the San Jac river and then back. Also go to Lake Conroe when it's not to crowded. I got the 7.4 310 horse. With a 1/4 tank of fuel and 2 persons, swinging a 21 pitch mirage that's been tuned, I can run right at 56 on the speedo. I got talked into getting the extended warranty so I can't do much to it. I've got about 20 hours on the boat to this point. I was thinking that I could drop a small cam in it to get a little better sound out of it. While I was passing thru the offshore section I ran across an ad to upgrade a stock exhaust for bout 200.00 bucks. Says you get a little better sound and some extra ump. I'm gonna check into it, 200 hundreds better that 1200 hundred.

Dawgdude..I have the 1999 24 Vindicator with the same 310hp but I am getting 64 on the speedo (light load and just me). I turn a 23 Mirage plus that has been labed and just bump 4600rpm's.
I am going to be selling that prop in a week if you are interested...it's in great shape...no nicks at all.
I will need more...I am putting a new 502 (540hp) in the boat and will need to swing more pitch.
This is my third year with the boat and we love it. It's a great cross between a go fast and pleasure boat. We boat on the lake 95% of the time so the lack of a deep V is not a concern for us. Love the room too!
Hey...if I don't get to the low 70's I am going to be disappointed...I also have a stern jack that I am going to try.
Happy boating and Brad, good luck with that next bigger boat! I checked out the boats you talked about and they look great! When I am ready to step up, I think I will give them serious consideration...
