View Full Version : I 5 Freeway open in Santa Clarita !!!!

FYI.....S/bound I 5 freeway just re-open, only truck lanes closed. N/bound should be fully open in a few hours. N/bound traffic is open via the truck lanes for now !!!!!

Left early this morning because figured the lanes were still closed. Was a NICE surprise to see that they were open. Drawback is being at work much earlier than anticpated.

Was on my way to Lancaster yesterday morning, went to take the 14 north and it was closed but on my way home at about 4:00pm it was open. Heading back out there tomorrow morning. Any issues I should know about?

Traffic has been light lately. Wondering if more people are taking public forms of transportation.
I guess everyone is back using the I 5 freeway...it was a parking lot this morning...!!!

Traffic a little heavier lately. Think is taking longer for people to get used to having the trucks on the vehicle section of the 5 over the Newhall Pass.
