6 1/2 Speakers: 2-way or Components?

Need help deciding if I should go with 6 1/2 2 ways or components. I know you'll never get the best sound in a boat, but what are the pros and cons with each? The will be ran off a 4 channel along with 2 6x9's. They will also be installed on the side panels of the boat so they will not be in a sealed box. Any input would be great.

Personally, I'd go with the components for the following reasons:
* The construction of a component speakers is typically much more stout than multi elements.
* They are typically rated for more power RMS.
* Bigger midbass motor structure
* No center pole coming through the midbass speaker
* The ability to place the tweets for best imaging and aiming.
* Plus the crossover's are typically of better quality, more sophistocated, and tougher build quality.
If you want to stay with multi elements, I'd go with 6X9's before 6.5's. They will be much louder and more efficient.
