How about an ENGINE. A motor is powered by an external power source.
I know...it irritates me off too.

This has always been an interesting topic. Motor VS Engine. You would think General Motors and Ford Motor companies would know better than to use motor in their name, since by definition an engine is what is usually used in their cars. It is better, that I don't try to challenge their wisdom.

Funny though they are lubricated with "Motor Oil."
