Just wondering what the state of Lake Isabella was. The last time I was up there, it was almost empty and it stunk. Does it have water and what are some of the campgrounds up there that you would recommend? Any info is appreciated.............Mike.... :)

It is in the state of California
we went a few times last year, the water level was up most of the year, end of July the dirty water came :yuk:
Water was about the best I seen last year, with lots of camp grounds :rollside: only a couple camp grounds are near the water when the level goes down.

We have not been there yet this year.
Water level is 43% of capacity, last year this time was 25%, Normal is 30%

I like Tillie Creek, when the water down it is not so friendly because the water is a mile away. You can run imto Kernville easy, lot sof shade
