I think Jbb said it best... it was cheaper to have a blown elimanator then it was to have a jet RC plane. :eek:
I would guess around 2500......

Very cool. Gotta add the cost of all the trainers you crash getting there. Lots of time and money, but looks like fun. :D

Man I have spent a crapload of money on RC planes. I added it up one year and it the amount was so high I could have built a real plane. So that's what I did.
Built one of these (http://www.geocities.com/Paris/LeftBank/7993/page_2.html) Then got too scared to fly it. It was worth more in one piece.
And the first rule of thumb is. Don't fly on scared money. ;)
