Delta Lunch Run. Saturday November 17th to Giusti's in Walnut Grove.
Meet/Leave from Orwood.
1st stop at Tower Park (set up be Shorty).
Lunch at Giusti's 2:00 P.M.
Rest of the day : where ever the river takes us.
Mark at Giusti's is openin' the place up for us in between his lunch and dinner crowd. Lunch cost per Mark is about $10.50 per person. Cocktails are extra.
If yer planning on going please give me a head count for lunch arrangements.

From November 1 through January 31. Gates will be closed for a total of up to 45 days for fisheries protection as requested by the US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), and Department of Fish & Game (DFG). Water in the oil still, took the top end off the engine hoping to find a bad gasket... No such luck, all looked good. But, two of the cylinders are severely scored. It looks as though it was caused by the wrist pins. And oddly those two cylinders have different brand pistons in them. I'm thinking someone used a little "smoke and mirrors" on this one. The scoring is definitely too deep to bore 'em clean, I'm going to need a new block. I just hope ( for $ sake) that the water issue is tied to this, or at least an issue with the block. Time and testing will tell. Anyone have a bare 454 block laying around for cheep?
Anyway, beyond that, I'm excited to meet y'all again.

We came close once when we left tower park, Delta Rat was my giligan and I rememeber franks was big white caps. we had so much fun in the soup bowl we turned around and did it again. I think the winds were in the 50mph range. my other riders were passed out for most of the journey, dam drunks. LOL:D :D

Seth, Im not sure of your engine combo, but I have a .060 454 block , 4 bolt, along with the pistons that were in it.(11:1) It was working when I took it out of my camaro, and it made 1000 HP at the rear wheels. The only catch is, the head studs are stuck in the block.(rusted on the back) I will let it go for somewhere between cheap and free:)

He says we can also park at the dock next door and worse comes to worse he has a dock about 250 yards away and will transport us with his car to the restraunt.
