Mercury outboard

Ok guys....I have a 60 hp outboard motor and can't find the year and serial number. I have been all over it looking and its just not there. Can anyone help as i need to change the water impeller.
It is a 3 cy, oil injected,electric start with carbs. It has a single ram 2 wire tilt system.
It is on a 20 foot poontoon, 2004 forster.owner added the motor.
I have to change the water impeller and need to buy a service manual. The cases won't come apart and i don't want to apply to much force.

Try http://forums.screamandfly.com/forums/ . This is the wrong place for outboard info. But as I recall merc only goes by production runs and not on a yearly date, like OMC did. Have you tryed iboats? Oh look under the torque tab for a bolt up into the lower unit- exaust housing. My v8 has one there.
