So our Dad turns 93 early November so Nice Pair & me are taking him fishing w/Steve's Grandson tomorrow! How bout that, fishing w/ your Granpa and Great Grandaddy? It don't get no better than that. I'm gonna feel bad taking their money :idea: :rolleyes: ;) :) ..........NOT ;) :)

nah, its to get the fook away from everyone( aka wife...) that reminds me of a joke....
Four married guys go fishing. After an hour, the following conversation
took place:
First guy: "You have no idea what I had to do to be able to come out
fishing this weekend. I had to promise my wife that I would paint every
room in the house next weekend."
Second guy: "That is nothing, I had to promise my wife that I would build
her a new deck for the pool."
Third guy: "Man, you both have it easy! I had to promise my wife that I
would remodel the kitchen for her."
They continue to fish. When they realized that the fourth guy has not said
a word, they asked him. "You haven't said anything about what you had to do to be able to come fishing this weekend. What's the deal?"
Fourth guy: "I just set my alarm for 5:30 am. When it went off, I shut off
my alarm, gave the wife a slap on her butt and said:
"Fishing or Sex?" and she said: "Wear sun-block."

We had a blast. The weather couldn't have been nicer, we were in t-shirts until 10:00 pm. Caught a bunch of little stuff, striped bass, catfish, sturgeon, 1) bullhead. Oh, did I forget to mention, I took all thier $$$ (bets) and I didn't even have to get the big fish out.:D

Thanks for the input guys. We got back last night about 6:30. It was a great trip and beautiful out on the water. Nice Pair caught a couple of keeper stripers and won the money. I just caught a couple of catfish and shaker stripers. On the last cast of the day our dad hooked a nice sturgen 50-60 lbs. Took him about 20 min to get it in the boat. It was about 44-45 inches so we tossed it back. Dad had a great time catching it and shareing the moment with his sons and great grandson. Too cool. ;) :)

Bob & Steve, those pics are great and to be able to share a day like like with your family is even better. Nice job Nice Pair on pocketing the cash but I think the real winner was the young man who got to enjoy that trip with Grandpa and Great Grandpa. Totaly cool guys, totaly cool!
