Have a trip planned to Orange County tomorrow, I know the 15 is closed in places, is the 10 route in clear? Not much news info out here in Az.
Also, is the 241 open?

Hey Rick, the 241 is closed right now from the 91 to Portola. Who knows by tommorow what will be open.:confused:

We came home from Parker last night and the 10 was clear and open. Pretty windy but no closures. The 241 is closed.

From a thread yesterday afternoon. I think it was posted by Havasu Dreamin in regards to how Roln 20s was getting to SoCal. Don't know the current status, but I believe it was closed around Devore due to a fire in the Glen Helen area.

Went to Hesperia yesterday and 15 was open. Windy as crazy but open. Cal trans http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/roadinfo/ also shows it as open. Now the websites goofy though so I can't check on the 241 but it was good on Friday when I went down to Extreme Trucks. Why you would need that to get to Anaheim though I'm not sure. From Havasu take the 15 down and then across the 210 and down the 57.

The 15 was open last night but had restrictions for tall trucks due to high winds. They were directing them to stay on the 215.

Seems going South out of Havasu, to I-10 west might be your route. With the fires the way that they are it's hard to predict the status of the 15 after Cajon pass.

241 was closed at 9am
It took me 2.5 hours to get from Corona to Tustin this morning. 91 is fawked and the fast track didn't realy help.(25 miles door to door)

The CHP advises that Interstate 15 is still closed in both directions between state Route 78 and state Route 56. CHP Commander Patrick Symonds says there was some earlier confusion as to the status of the freeway because it had been closed as far north as state Route 76. That segment of the highway is now open but southbound drivers are being diverted onto SR-78.

I drove yesterday evening from Barstow to Irvine. Cajon pass was a mess. It was backed up from the top down. 215 and 15 were open. It started picking up after Devore. I was in my 30' Class A RV, and it was windy as all hell. I barely made it home, Stopped twice due to visibility. Lost my Patio Awning. It was extra secured too, but that did no good. I saw 10+ motorhomes on side of road trying to salvage theirs as well. $1200 lesson learned. I should have just stayed in Barstow in the camp a few more days:(

Yep. Fire in the pass now and the news is saying that they will probably close the 15 at the 138 shortly. Come on out the 10.

241 still closed....I-10 may be your best bet but things changing very quickly....tell Linda thanks for the call and we are fine at this point...
