My son is supposed to be racing this weekend at the longboard races at Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas.

Is this anywhere near the fires that it might be cancelled.

I live near the park and it is safe. The only concern may be air-quality. My kids' school cancelled PE and recess and my son's baseball game was cancelled too.

My son is looking forward to this event also. We live up in the hills here in San Dimas (Via Verde), this fire thing has really got my wife and I concerned. I took the day off today and have some essentials loaded in the car.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. My house, off of San Dimas Canyon and North of Foothill, has no wind and we've had none since Sunday.....Other than the horrible air quality I aint too worried...
