Well im putting the Glastron up for sale minus motor. After my little mishap with the motor my insurance paid me out and I found a new boat so this one has to go. It was set up with a 460 and a Berkley JE pump boat is very nice with a killer system in it,New Autometer Silver face gauges, interior, carpet, floor, paint, wiring, plumbing, and Rino lined 100% of inside of boat.Im sure im leaving some stuff out but ill let the picture do the talking. The boat ran 58 mph on the gps @ 4400 rpm with a soso impeller. The boat sits on a tandum axel with new rims and tires. Asking $5500(lowered the price to $4500) minus motor every thing else stays with the boat and its all new the boat was completly restored in 2002. Boat is located in St.Louis Mo. 63367

Seems like a little too much without the engine. Up here in MN I can usually find a nice one for $4000 including engine. Granted yours looks REALLY nice.

A clean CVX 20 will bring about 7-10K in the kind of shape this one is in! I agree It does seem high but I just check on the glastron owners site. 4k is a very common price to find a fixer upper. If someone is serious im willing to hear what they have to say, $5,500 is a O.B.O price!
Thanks for looking... wink

I like the boat, and I'm in the StLouis area. What model pump is in the boat? I currently have an Earl Smith Gullwing (project boat), but I'm always keeping my eyes open for a more family friendly jet.

Its a JE pump in good shape, shows a little wear on the leading edge of the impeller. With the motor on its way out it ran 58 on the gps. The motor just needs a wrist pin and rod..

It's a good looking boat for sure. I'm picturing myself as James Bond, running upriver fleeing from the bad guys. I'm not crazy about the E pumps, but for a family boat I'm sure it would work fine. Does the comment about the engine needing a wrist pin and rod mean that the engine comes with the boat?
Steve

As for the paper work i have been to the guys house 2 times with no luck his kids tell me he is in Arkansas and wont give up a phone # for him. However you should be able to tittle it with your bill of sale according to Ar. DMV. Give it a try! :( Sorry

It's looking pretty good. I'll get you some photos as soon as I get it back. The ding-dongs that repaired the v-drive didn't check out the prop shaft like I asked. The shaft looks bent and it spit out the whip strut bushing out after 10 minutes in the water. I'll give the dmv a shot, but the bill of sale is from you and the boat title is a different name. It was no prob on the boat because I had a signed off title. So don't give up, and I'll let you know. Bob
