I have my MSD to run at 4900 RPMs max and thinking of putting a higher RPM chip in it to run her up to 5800 with new chip and some adjusted timing.
My question is...At 4900 I am running 86mph GPS @ close to sea level with 90* temp outside with a AA impeller. I am looking to try to hit the 90 mark with doing these changes. Any imput on doing this? The ZZ502 is a full rollor motor with different cam,crank,intake,heads so it is not stock in any ways and conservativley running 600 HP. I bought the boat all rigged with this motor and have not dynoed it yet but have ran her this past summer with these #'s.
I am asking you HP/pump chart gurus out there for any help on these ?'s Any horsepower guesses with these specs? More info would be gladly given. Thks guys
P.S. my boat is a fairly light layup 20' Sandpiper (Carrera Eclipse look alike)
