I know a couple of you wanted me to post pics of the hound, so here she is. The girl petting her is 18, just for a size reference. Maggie's 206lbs right now...winter weight!!! LOL

Big Dog = big Dog turds.
I know what "the Kid" does with these Dogs during the long cold Maine winters. I'm still having a visual...and it ain't pretty.

Not to mention Maggie can keep the D Kid warm in the Winter. You don't think he also ............................? No, no way, he's not that perverted is he? I haven't know him very long so I really don't have an opinion.

Oh jesus Hammer, you're still knocking my "old bad habits", that was when I was married and not getting any. Can't you understand? And besides, this dog is alot taller than my old one and I just can't keep my balance standing on encyclopedias. And my banjo lessons take up all my free time anyways. LOL

I help with the "Maine Great Dane Rescue". I rescued her. I had a black from a pup that my x-wife has and a fawn I rescued. The fawn was a male stud at a local puppy mill. When they were "done" with him, the tied him to a light pole in the local supermarket parking lot. Middle of Feb in a freezing rain storm. Feet froze to the ground. I got him free and kept him. Also shut the mill down after I found it, but being an officer I can't release how I did it. I wasn't a cop at the time, and it would affect my job now!!! LOL
Lost him after 2 years to bone cancer. 7 months later a lady called and said a neighbor of hers was going to put down a harl that killed cats. So...I went to check and there she was. Big blue eyes. Stuffed in an apartment with loosers. They had her given to them from another drone who beat her and burned her left front leg BAD. This couple had a litter of kittens and thought it would be cute to dump them in the middle of the living room floor to look at. Dog came in, got excited and stepped on two of them. They didn't make it. She was headed for the needle. Sorry to that cat lovers, BUT ain't no cat worth the life of an innocent beautiful harlequin. I took her and her she is. Lost my yellow lab back in Dec and she was depressed for a long time, but she's the best dog I've ever had.
Wouldn't give her up for the world. You tell Bub that Kid's got connections with breeders! One in GA that breeds BEAUTIFUL harls! FYI!!!!! :rollside:
