Which ones are the ones that will hold up to more idling, or slow speed application, that the others? I have been using Crane 819-16's, but I'd like to be safer.

You mean Comp 819-16.
They say Morel (S?) is the lifter to run. Infomaniac sells them.

Yep the Morel is the best. The finish they are putting on them now is awesome.
Comp does have a new internal passage lifter but it is not as good.
Great deals on either one of them. Depending on the budget.

I ran a set of Doug Herbert solid roller lifters in my small block mopar on the street(700 hp on the bottle) for 3 years and they still look new. Lots of stop and go traffic and freeway crusing as well as some 10.1 quarter mile times.

Yep, Comp. I'm looking for the ones that pressure feed the axles, so they don't rely on just splash lube.

Info, im looking for a set of hydrolic rollers for a gen 5 block, can you get me a price? I was leaning towards the crowers, but if there is something better I would like to get them.I had a lifter failure and im not skimping this time around.
Thanks, Tim

Tim,
Morel now makes a marine specific lifter. It uses the buttons and tie bar material from their Top Fuel lifter. What they found in some hyd roller marine engines that see sustained rpm levels over 5000 that the lifter would "shake" itself apart. The new link and buttons will hold over 6000HP and have not had issues in the marine test engines. These used in engines that have aggressive cam profiles and lift over .650". They are around $50 more a set.
