Hey guys, you'll have to excuse the dumb question I'm asking but what's the best way to drain water from the block. I can't seem to find any drain plug or anything. Once I pop the Bassett T and relieve the pressure water goes pouring out of the back of the boat/jet. Below is my setup. Is this enough or is there still likely a bunch of water in there??? Boat is garaged and stays warm in winter, but I still want to drain the water out as completely as I can.

Block drains along the lower sides of the block

I will take some pics of mine today when I drain it.
After I drain mine I blow out the lines with air then remove the thermostat housing
and fill it up with antifreeze ,

theres a drain on each side of the block in the middle just above the oil pan. be sure to drain both sides. if the water does`nt run out, take a screwdriver and stick it in each hole. sometimes i find grit inside bottom of the block that wont allow the water out. theres no need to refill the block with anti-freeze.

the hole on the right with the rust and water.... this is on the left side.
the right side is next to the oil dipstick

I installed a set of valves like they have on the bottom of air compressors and drain the block after every use at the lake or river.

Now there's a good idea, and add one to your oil drain plug and you can keep all the crap out of the bilge.

be sure to blow out the exhaust system as well. I boat year 'round and it gets quite cold here so I blow out the logs as well as the block.
