It was just an "example", but good wine for sure. I think you meant the Napa ahead of the Alex Valley :D

I was there a couple years ago as well....very boutique vinyard....although owned by Far Niente, a much different wine making experience happens at N/N then Far Niente can ever imagine.....love single vinyard wine's...:)

The best chard I have ever had...
2001 Hanzell Estate Chardonnay $110 (google it)...
If you have not been the to the Vinyard, it is at the top of Sonoma...you can see the bay....it's amazing; the oldest vines in Napa or Sonoma...just a beautiful vinyard with a winemaker that still believes in old vines that produce a classic tasting grape.

That's a cloth table cloth I'll have you know. The glasses are custom cut crystal with the family seal and the salt& pepper shakers are 70s vintage Tiffany's. Ok so what if Tiffany was an old girlfriend.
So you just sit over there in your corner and eat your HotPockets with yer mouth shut. :D

This wine is very tough to find and at High Times it over 200$ a bottle. What Costco did you see this at?

Is any of the stuff you get any good? Maybe you should try selling it somehow and make some extra cash? Or just let me have it all.

Maybe not all of it, but I am sure a lot of it is as I am told that when given to me. I can't sell it, I could get in trouble.

Charles Krug, Cab.
Great stuff, generally runs around low $20's for a standard bottle. $60 + if you want the red stripe. I have to say it is my favorite.

One of our favorites is Kamen. We have lots of it in our cellar.
2001 Kamen Cabernet Sauvignon (only variety they make) $60ish and goes with everything.
Also, our boat is named Paraduxx (sister to Duckhorn...another story) and the Mr. loves his zins. It's a blend.
Any year Parduxx $60ish a bit on the heavier side, but it's a zin!
Fantesca is one of the coolest wines around. They have fortune "corkies" and there are some funny things on them. The bottle has sort of a mardi gras etching to it. The chardonnay runs about $40 and the Cabernet is about $60.
And we buy direct mostly, so I don't know of any places to buy it cheaper.

I beg to differ. A few of us from ***boat did a Napa trip this time last year during harvest season. Although one in the crowd decided to do his own Keystone Light tasting in the limo while the rest of got plastered on wine. :D

We joined a wine of the month club about ten years ago, and it sounds dumb, but they send you really good wine for like $10 a bottle, then if you like it you can buy a case. We have upgraded to the "special" wine (can't remember the name of it) and Matt likes red, so they send him only red now. It's nice at Christmas they always send Champagane or a Sparkling wine.:D
