Anyone know about the new drag boat promoter. I read a thread on another board. But it didn't make much sense. Any information would be appreciated

I read it also. Looks like someone is trying to unitie the various drag boat organizations into a National, united one. Several org running under the umbrella of UDB?, inc. Sounds like alot of ambition. There was an excellent response concerning the funding and the order in which the funding comes in. I think the poster is a business management professional, or something cause he sure knows his business........I think alot of the finger pointing was towards Charlie, and his filling of his own pockets at the expense of the racers and sponsors.........MP

The fellow proposing the UDBA is John White, last year's President of the SDBA, Driver of 'Hot Licks', #725 TFH, and a Dedicated Racer for many years ... Hardly a guy seeking to 'Line His Own Pockets' at the expense of anybody as he is quite a successful businessman in his own right.

I wasn't refering to John or anyone tied to this endeavor. I think everyone knows who Charlie is..............MP

My take on it is that all organizations will remain the same, it will just provide a nation-wide platform to secure national sponsorship, television programs, and common entry-fees, payouts, rules, etc.

I think he is referring to Charlie Fegan, the President of IHBA.
