Is it in good enough condition to drive back to Havasu, or would it need to be trailered?

Is the body fairly straight and free of cancer? Also, besides being in need of restoration, is everything there?

Most everything is there. Some of the dashboard items are missing but all the guages are there. Here are the 2 worst things about the car (except for the interior):
A dent behind the right front tire.

Some rust along the front of the hood.

I am trying to post everything on here and not email or PM back so everyone gets a fair shot here. I'm just trying to be fair. For those that have PM'd me, I'll answer your PM's but I'm going to put additional info as a general post for everyone to benefit.
The car is in Thousand Oaks.

I'm not sure. I think from what I can remember the gu who sold it to me said a turbo 350. Does that sound right? Don't know much about these muscle cars. Is there a way I can check by looking at it?

I can see 2 bolts on the bottom of the tail shaft cover. If there were 2 other bolts on top they would form square. That is what I can best guess what I am looking at. So I assume it is a turbo 350. If there were 6 bolts, would one of the bolts be at the bottom of the pattern? (i.e. 6 o'clock on the circle dial).

The turbo 350 transmission was introduced in the 1969 model year as the successor to the GM Powerglide automatic transmission. So if it was a 350 it would have had to been converted. easy way to tell a powerglide from a turbo 350.
powerglide 2 speed drive and low
turbo 350 3 speeds drive 2nd 1st
Actually go thru the gears using the shifter or listen to it while it shifts. As most people did not change the indicator.
You may want to list it on sites like teamchevelle, craigslist and recycler if you have not yet.
The teamchevelle site has lots of good info on it. You can decode the vin.
Which people untested in classic cars will ask you. So decode the vin and body tag and you will be ready.
Other questions people will ask you is:
10 bolt or 12 bolt ( they are asking how many bolts on rear axle cover
posi or peg leg
does it have disc brakes
is it a tilt
Good luck with the sale, it is priced right.
