This blower motor is absolutely complete. It has less than 4 hours running time. Divorce forced me to sell the boat, however I kept the motor! Starting from the bottom up: 14 quart chrome oil pan, H/V oil pump, Eagle crank, H-beam rods, SRP pistons, fully ARP studded & o-ringed block, Erson solid roller cam, latest SCE copper gaskets, Dart (Merlin) heads, roller rockers, Clay Smith 170 gph fuel pump, Romac harmonic balancer, alum. timing cover, Jabsco water pump (w/ extra impeller & rebuild kit), Basset water injected headers, VERY TRICK & RARE 2 PC. valve covers ($1,500 new!), Joe Hunt Magneto, 8-71 BDS blower run at 5% over, BDS fuel log w/bypass regulator and carb hard lines, brand new Proform 750 carbs, one-off WATER/METHONAL injection system (boost activated), Dooley carb scoop. Asking $9,500.00
If purchased COMPLETE, I'll split shipping costs. Price can be reduced as follows: less headers (-$400.00) less 2-piece valve covers (-$500.00) replaced with new polished aluminum valve covers. less water/alcohol system (-$200.00). However, these parts are not for sale individually unless the motor is sold. You could not build this motor for twice the asking price.

How much horse power is it making? what rpms? I'm looking to swap out my 532 BBF to a blower motor.

R/L,
Not sure on the exact HP, however I've had several 461-468" Blown BBC over the years and my best guesstimate would be 800-850HP. This particular motor spun 7,200 rpm with 25% over in the v-drive and a 11 1/2 x 15 pitch prop. The boat was a HEAVY 1972 Sanger 19' flat. This boat ran right 101 mph (at Ming) with a mild blown BBC with the same gearing & prop at 6,600 rpm. So based on that timeslip, the slip factor for the boat is 13%. So this new motor theoretically pushed the boat to 111 mph (@ 7,200). It is a strong motor. It broke the HD Borg-Warner trans on the first pass!(after 6 years running with the old motor).

That motor looks very trick. Looks like a lot of custom engineering. Can you run pump gas with that water alky set up if desired?

That motor looks very trick. Whats the compression ratio? Can you run pump gas with the water alky set up? This is a sweet deal for complete top to bottom engine with that many custom engineered parts. Not really ready for this, but its a hard deal to pass up......

Yes, pump gas and timing @ 30-32 total.
