I got an email from a friend that has those same pictures. The captions
stated that it is a piranha. I haven't been able to verify it but haven't
been able to disprove it either.

Someone sent them to me last year. As to where it was caught shockwavebob's link.
I think I wouldn't go after one of those with a 40lb tess line, but more like a 44 Mag.

Most of you fisher man should know...although large, it is a stripper bass. Most strippers are about half that size, and hense there teeth are smaller. This one appears to have a defect that caused the unusual larger size, and slightly larger teeth.
Basically they feed on twin fin shad by schooling then to the surface, then making high speed passes into the group, destroying/eating as many as they can. Similar to the fools making high speed passes on the wrong side of the lake. Oh... and they do this with their eyes closes, just like a fool adjusting the stereo volume at 60mph+:D :D
