Hey Scotch drinkers?

I need to buy a good bottle of Scotch for a client $100 to $500 range.
Dont know crap about it.
Anyone? Were do i buy it as well.
Beverages and more have good Scotch?

I prefer drinking Albertson's label scotch. Sometimes I splurge and get the Vons label.
Single Malt? Blend?
On a serious note:
The 18yr Macallan is a single malt, really good. You can always step up to the 24 or 25yr which is smokin.

If you are buying for a good client, I would go with nothing less than Johnny Walker Blue Label about 160ish at Bevmo..
If you are looking for something better in the $500 range go with the Celtic Heartlands Macallan 34 yr....$499 at Bevmo...
Both are excellent; obviously 34yr is a little smoother more oak taste to it, but at 93pts the Blue Label tastes better then pretty much anything out there....and I am novice at scotch and wine.

Man there are some high dollars Scoth out there, for me I love Chivas Regal, not sure if they make a higher dollar one.

Is the client a Scotch drinker??? If so, find out what brand they like and pick up a bottle.
If they only occasionaly partake in wee dram of liquor, the Macallan 18 year is a good bet.
