Whats the deal with the transom adapter. Is it just not on in the photo or am I missing something.

Smacktalker
08-25-2003, 03:45 PM
There is no transom adapter, it has aluminum plates instead, that are custom fit to the pump and boat.

Smacktalker
08-26-2003, 10:13 AM
If anybody is interested, they can email me at jhockin@sonicdryclean.com. I am very motivated to sell the boat, with or without motor and pump.

08-26-2003, 12:31 PM
well yeah I knew about the custom adapters you use when you do a setback. I just didn't see them in the photo. I was not sure if you had them built yet.

They are built, they just haven't been installed yet. Have not decided whether or not to polish them or make them satin.

I powdercoated my transom plates white. It gives it a nice professional look if you have a white pump and transom, which you do. Im not a big fan of powdercoating, but its the only part powdercoated on my boat so its okay. :D Cool boat you have there!

No, its actually a number 10 line,im going to run a number 10 off the pump to a regulator then continuing a number 10 line to the T in front of the motor ... wink

Smacktalker
08-28-2003, 07:22 AM
Isn't that a little large?

Cs19
08-28-2003, 08:03 AM
Well according to jack @ mpd thats the way to set it up for my application with a regulator and no thermostat. I trust him as he continues to build record setting boats. wink The pump can build up to 200-300 + psi with high performance motors, thats why we run the fat line into the regulator, in the long run we are trying to keep the water pressure in the block down.

Bense468
08-28-2003, 01:20 PM
Run a fat water dump also.

Smacktalker
08-29-2003, 08:46 AM
Or run 2 water dumps (-10)

Smack any luck yet on that tunnel. That is a pretty nice boat. Is the purple or pink paint or is it all gell? I would pick this boat up if mine was gone. I still have mine though and have had flaky people so far. Once I sell my boat I will be looking for either a Daytona 19, a PC, or a CP. I will be happy with any of the above as long as they are clean and have potential to be set up with nice hardware and run a solid number. Your boat is a little on the light side for me but I probably would pick it up. The stringers are a little thin.

I have had one real fair offer, the potential buyer is getting things in order for a purchase hopefully next week. I will let you know if the sale doesn't go through! Smack talker, Thanks for the help with the boat situation this weekend. I got the early morning wake up calls also. Anyone who messes with someone elses boat needs to be drug out in the street and shot. That guy has a severe beating coming for hiding Robs boat. I know a few guys that feel the same way. What goes around comes around. But I will not mess with anyone elses things. I am going to try to get a picture of him. He is a jet skiier. He wants to be jetovatored any time anyone sees him. He likes it.

I think we all got the early morning wake up call! Poor smacktalker, I think he almost had a heartattack when Mr.P told him that the boat was stolen. He thought it was cookin'! Geez, what a F'd up deal that was.

Smacktalker
09-11-2003, 10:04 AM
I did have a heart attack. My wife had to revive me. It took me about 3 minutes to finally wake up and understand that it wasn't my boat. But Rob's what a relief. I agree that the stupid Mother F**ker should be drug out and shot!!! My only comment is, who un hitches their boat and doesn't put a lock on it!!! That's the person who should be drug out in the street and shot for being stupid!!! But that's my opinion!!!

Petrofied
09-11-2003, 11:31 AM
Come on Smacktalker... play nice. It was his first boat and first time at the river. It was a hard lesson learned as I bet he doesn't leave it unlocked ever again. Just thank god that it was a VERY BAD joke and not really stolen.
I agree that the guy should be shot! (with water from Rob's divertor if nothing else). I think that I would prefer a baseball bat to the guys truck, but that's just me. Oh yeah... you'd go to jail. But the look on his face as you're beating the hell out of his truck would be worth it. Do I sound like a bitter, psycho bitch?? :D

Bense468
09-11-2003, 11:38 AM

I shouldn't say that, the heat may come down on me if it ever is really stolen.
