Who do you use?
on a 70-80mph Vhull what kinda $ are we talking about?
I've had a 25' that did 70mph and was paying $650 a year with no layup.
I got a quote today for a 30' that does 75mph for $2800 with a 4 month layaup, I thought it was pretty funny too for a second.
I was considering going with an 80/85mph Cat with a higher value and was told I would be looking at about $1800 a year for insurance... That was within reason I guess in comparison to what I heard today.
Obviously i'm shopping around!

I used a guy here on the boards, he is an agent for alternative ins. He hooked me up with progressive. I have an agreed value policy, no layup and a disappearing deductible for just under a grand. I'm under 75mph though and I remember that question being asked. Are you sure your new purchase does 75 and not 74? 951-280-9999
